For High School Seniors, this year, particularly the Fall, deadlines will be what they live by. While making sure school assignments are in on time, these next months are filled with non negotiable calendar dates for the college application process.

There has been a keen interest in higher ed in the UK. What is this draw? A lot has to do with the ability to start studying one's major immediately rather than waiting for the obligatory one or two years at the majority of schools in the US.

Your Senior in high school graduated and is well on their way to their next step, whether it be university, a gap year or maybe just a break between high school and university. I remind you that once turning 18, our 18 year olds are no longer considered ‘ours’ in many respects.

When I was choosing my university it was a no brainer, perhaps I was lucky, as  I was accepted to only one university, the choice was made for me.

Sometimes, students with Learning Difficulties think that going abroad to university isn’t for them.

In the past, the UK has been very straightforward in that their in entry requirements are quite transparent here.

When I turned 18 I was still under the legal supervision of my parents. My parents had the right to review all my records- university grades, medical records and had I a police record- that too (no, I have never had a police record). 

As many are aware, the first round of university applications are due relatively soon. While students should already know what application path they should take, it is important to have a review of each path: 

As we all know, the SAT has made major changes to their platform. It is digital and shorter and in the longrun it was to have been more efficient. The shortened test is a welcome change. 

Voting is a privilege in the USA and we all know that it is what makes our country a  true democracy. I age myself by stating the fact that the voting age changed while I was in university.
